King's Lynn is a sea port and market town in the English county of Norfolk. It is located in the east of the country, on the banks of the River Ouse, and is 156 kilometres north of London. In the town there are two theatres, museums and other cultural and sporting venues. There are several large public parks in the town, the biggest one being The Walks. This is a historic park in the centre of the town.
Harding's Pits is another public park in King’s Lynn. King’s Lynn is the main shopping area in West Norfolk. Buses and trains join King’s Lynn to surrounding areas and other parts of the country.
