Orpington is a suburban town in South East London. It has a long history, with tools from the Stone Age having been found in areas of the town. Pieces of Bronze Age pottery have been unearthed, and there are Roman period remains. It was settled during the Anglo-Saxon era, and there are several places of local interest.
