Luton is a big town in the English county of Bedfordshire. It is 50 kilometers outside of London. There is a major international airport nearby. Every year in May, Luton hosts one of Europe’s largest one day carnivals; the Luton Carnival. Due to several waves of immigration over the years, Luton has a very diverse ethnic makeup. Because of this, there are numerous different interesting religious buildings around the town. There is also a diverse culinary scene, with many different foods to try. The main shopping area is The Mall. There are several museums and places of interest include Dunstable Downs, Chiltern Hills, Leagrave Park, the Hat Factory, Someries Castle, Stockwood Park, Luton Hoo, Whipsnade Zoo, Woburn Safari Park and Woodside Farm.
