Trowbridge is a large town in the English county of Wiltshire. It is also the county town. It sits on the River Biss and is about 19 kilometres away from Bath. Although the old castle no longer stands, influences can be seen across the town, with names such as Castle Street and the Castle Place Shopping Centre, and Fore Street traces the path of the original castle ditch. There are several buildings associated with the town’s former position within the textiles industry.
