Waltham Abbey is a market town located in the English county of Essex about 24 kilometres outside of London. It sits between the River Lea and Epping Forest and named after the large and important ancient monument in the area. The grave of King Harold is an important historic site in the town. The Welsh Harp Inn is an attractive half-timbered inn from the 15th century. It is a great place to stop for a rest and admire the lovely design. The Lychgate passage next to the Inn leads into the church grounds.
