Woking is a large town in the English county of Surrey. It is 37 kilometres away from London’s Charing Cross. It falls in the London Commuter Belt area, and has a very ethnically diverse and multicultural resident population. There are many old and new churches in the town, including the lovely St Mary’s Church. St Peter’s Church is known for having the oldest door in Surrey – a random claim to fame! The beautiful Shah Jahan Mosque is a working Mosque just outside of the town. It was one of the first mosques in Western Europe. The Woking Martian is an interesting structure in the town. The modern shopping area is called The Peacocks. There are several historic buildings littered around the town. The best way to see Woking is with car rental offered by VIP Cars.
