Worksop is a large town in the English county of Nottinghamshire. It sits at the northern edges of Sherwood Forest, the legendary and notorious former stomping ground of Robin Hood and his Merry Men. Worksop is about 24 kilometres away from the city of Sheffield, and is known as the "Gateway to the Dukeries", because of the eminent ducal properties in the nearby area. Places of interest include Worksop Priory, which is today a church but was formerly an Augustinian Priory. It is a spectacular sight. Clumber Park is a pretty National Trust owned park.
