Huntsville is a city and the seat of Madison County in the US state of Alabama. Located north of the Tennessee River, this city is a prominent center for aerospace and missile defense technologies. NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center and the Cummins Research Park are both located here. The Port of Huntsville is a prominent port and business park here containing the Huntsville Int’l Airport, Int’l Intermodal Center and a Jetplex Industrial Park.
Huntsville contains three historic districts namely – Twickenham, Old Town and Five Points Historic districts, which one can visit. This city also has a number of museums as the US Space and Rocket Center, the Alabama Constitution Village, the Clay House Museum, and the North Alabama Railroad Museum. The Harrison Brothers Hardware Store is the oldest operating hardware store in the state, and the Huntsville Depot is a still operating historic depot worth visiting here.
