I'm always wary about going with the cheapest car hire option, but as it was payment on collection I thought might as well, as there's nothing to loose. Also in Italy the chances are you'll get a dink or bump so I never go for a prestige motor. So booked a Fiat 500, expecting a Panda, but there was a nice new 500 waiting for us, with sun roof as well. Very happy. Also only a low deposit was taken on my credit card of £600. Can highly recommend VIPCars and would be happy to use them again.
Best rates for a compact car at DAL
VIP had the best rates for a compact car at DAL (Dallas- Love Field, USA). The only thing the VIP website was not fully up-to-date about, was the fact that all car check-in at DAL is now at the car rental lot (not at the unoccupied rental car desks at baggage claim). But the shuttle ride was quick and short (<1 mile) so the on-airport vs off-airport check-in was not a deal breaker.
Booking was easy
Booking car was a good experience. I wanted to book the rent of the car and did not want to acquire an insurance. By mistake, the insurance was charged and then I called and Andrew from support team was very solicit and assited me in order to cancel the insurance right away. I'll do another review after I rent the car.
Ease of booking.
Ease of booking as it took away hours needed to search the best deal. But realised the insurance apparent not from the respective car rental but another 3rd party. This make implicates claim if there a claim as car rental cliam it on clients. Thereafter we need to submit a separate claim to the insurance company. Ideally the insurance should come from the same rental company rather than to a third party.
